Every time I drive to Peoria, or back to Canton, I go past a set of stairs that are just kind of built into the side of a hill. I figured that it led to a walking path or something, but I was wrong. The stairs lead up the hill to another set of stairs. Those stairs in turn, lead to nothing. It is kinda neat, but at the same time a disappointment. Oh well.

A nice Ferrari/Shell commercial.

Most should know that I am a Ferrari freak. On top of that, most know I love Formula 1 racing. When you combine the two, and add in Shell Oil, you get this!

And for your own good; turn the volume way the hell up.

Black & Whites

I went back, yet again... I will not say too much other than that I think the pictures had to be in black and white. Brian, you missed out on some eerie fun.

More from the abandoned plant... I ventured into one of the buildings tonight and took a couple of shots. I forgot to bring my slave flashes and flashlight, so I did not spend too much time there. I have no idea of the layout of the plant, and would rather not fall through a weak floor or missing grate. I will be going back and going through some more of the buildings before too long.

Thanks to Brian, I had to go visit his site. I did not take a lot of pictures, as the sun was going down and I did not want to set-up the tripod & flashes. Anyway, here are four that were, in my eyes, keepers.

As soon as I saw this place, my jaw dropped and I felt like a little kid walking into "Toys R' Us" for the first time. I will be going back to this place very soon, and I hope that I can get a bunch more photos!

Well, I finally made it out to take some pictures, after a long miserable time being sick... Allergies, or the black plague... who knows?

Regardless of the illness, I ran down by the rubber processing plant at Caterpillar and took a few shots there. Next on the list was an area that is by the Peoria River Terminal. After processing, I came up with these pictures.

This was kind of a last minute location. I was driving back to my apartment, when I decided to check out the old Bemis plant. I did not get the chance to take many pictures, thanks to the security patrol. The guard was a very pleasant older gentleman that informed me that I was on private property that is now under ownership of "IVEX" & "O'Brien Steel".

Anyway, he was nice, and I was more than happy to oblige the guy and leave. There was soooooooo much more I wanted to shoot, but I like having a clean police record. There will always be another time...
